For Both Women and Men.
A combination system of laser or intense pulsed light the latest
development in this technology for fast, safe effective treatment of unwanted hair and red veins.
How does it work? The light from the Laser or IPL reacts with melanin (colour) in the hair or vein resulting in selective photo thermal damage of the hair follicle and its regenerative cells, or the sealing off of surface blood vessels. This is our third upgrade in 7 years as the technology has been greatly developed, giving us vastly improved effectiveness and enables us to choose the best option for each individual client’s problem.
The addition of IPL with its larger treatment area per shot means much quicker treatment times resulting in much less expensive treatment costs for our clients!
Unwanted hair can be treated very effectively, provided there is enough colour to create the required heat at the root by using either laser for sparse or lighter coloured hair or with IPL for speed on larger, more dense areas of growth. 7 to 14 days after treatment the hair will fall out.
Not all hairs are at their ideal "live" stage of growth at one time and this is why a series of at least 10 treatments at 4-8 weekly intervals are needed. Some medical conditions, hormonal changes and medications can stimulate hair growth and can affect the number of treatments required. Because laser and IPL react with the target colour underneath the skin and not the surface skin tissue, skin reaction is minimal and quickly subsides.
Red and blue thread veins are treated with the laser and usually require 2-4 treatments depending on the density and proximity of veins to one another, and can go darker before fading away.
Treatment time is entirely dependent on how large an area of hair or veins require treatment. At consultation an estimate of time required will be given, treatments will be timed and charged accordingly.
For both applications it is advisable to avoid exposure to the sun during a course of treatment.
A consultation and patch test are required prior to starting either treatment. Nearly all areas of the face and body can be treated.
Over six years experience and learning by us in this innovative field means that we can offer the most thorough treatments and advice available.
NB. Due to our huge investment in this equipment, and to optimise results, it is imperative that all appointments are kept. Therefore our policy of charging for late cancellations and missed appointments will be strictly applied.
The only current proven solution for unwanted blonde, grey and whit hairs.
For the progressive long term treatment of unwanted hair: The Blend method of needle electrolysis involves inserting a very fine needle into each individual hair follicle and applying a combination of direct galvanic current and heat which creates a chemical reaction to disable the hair follicle progressively. The current is applied for five seconds; the treated hairs are then removed.
