Laser Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is one of the most popular and effective treatments. The choice of IPL or Laser is dependent upon your individual skin and hair type. Here at Silks we use the latest in laser technology and our clinician has 10 years experience.

Pulses of laser beams pass through the skin without harm whilst producing damage to the hair follicle. Patients may feel a tingling sensation on the area where the laser sweeps across the skin. Laser treatment can last from a few minutes to an hour or more depending on the size of the area being treated.

Hair grows in cycles and its growth is influenced by many factors such as weight, age, metabolism, medication and hormonal activities.

Considering these factors, it is difficult to predict how many treatments each individual will require to achieve the best long term results. After an in–depth consultation between two and eight treatments will usually be advised.

This treatment is safe for all skin colours.
