Laser Hair Removal
Why choose laser hair removal?
Traditional hair removal techniques such as shaving, plucking and waxing only provide a temporary solution to the problem. Laser hair removal is non-invasive, and safely removes unwanted body hair without damaging the skin. Treatments such as the face and bikini area are usually completed in under 20 minutes, legs and larger areas will take longer.
How does it work?
The laser emits a beam of light that passes through the skin to the hair follicle, where it is absorbed. The laser energy is transformed into heat which can disable the follicle yet leaving the surrounding skin unchanged.
How many treatments will I need?
This depends on the individual, the skin type, the texture of the hair and the size of the hair follicle. For best results an average course of treatments is usually 6.
Who can have hair removal treatment?
Most people can. As part of your free consultation, the area in question will be looked at to see if you would benefit from the treatment and a test patch performed free of charge in order to see how your skin, and hair, will react.
