A medical aesthetic clinic in the heart of Cheshire, close to the M6. Our Medical Clinic specialises in Non Surgical Cosmetic treatments, chemical peels, radiofrequency, and laser procedures. Our Clinic Medical director Dr Teri Johnson has developed this clinic to provide a more extensive range of treatments more locally to the people of Cheshire.

Dr Teri Johnson is a General Practitioner at The Oaklands Medical Centre in Middlewich. Cheshire. Dr Johnson carries out Wrinkle relaxing, Dermal fillers, Sclerotherapy, Sculptra and Chemical peels personally. All other treatments are undertaken by our fully trained experienced cosmetic technicians, following a full consultation with Dr Johnson, to ensure the correct treatments are recommended. With a professional, friendly approach, confidential treatment is provided in a surgically clean environment.

Laser Treatments

At present all our laser treatments involve Intense Pulsed Light (IPL).

IPL technology is employed in the treatment of medical disorders of the skin including:

* sun damage induced pigmentation
* acne
* rosacea
* broken capillaries/telangiectases
* skin rejuvenation
* vascular and pigmented birth marks

It is also a popular method for hair removal.

The Intense Pulsed Light hair removal process has become very popular due to its cheaper and faster procedure compared to laser hair removal, which is often more costly and time consuming. The comparison of effectiveness between Intense Pulsed Light and Laser Epilation is debated by scientists, equipment manufacturers and practitioners, but results are generally accepted to be roughly equivalent.

Tattoo removal

Cheshire Lasers are currently researching the latest technologies to find the most up to date equipment for Tattoo removal.

We hope Tattoo removal will be available in the Spring 2009. Please let us know if you are interested in this treatment, we will be looking for models for our training later in the year.
