Laser & IPL Hair Removal

For Women of All Skin Types and Tones?
Get rid of unwanted facial and body hair. No more painful waxing, electrolysis, tweezing or razors. At Binsina Laser Clinic, we use Cutera CoolGlide Laser and IPL Ellipse Flex Pulse Light to safely and effectively reduce unwanted hair on skin of all types and tones. Even patients with a suntan can be treated.

The Cutera CoolGlide Difference?
The Cutera CoolGlide was designed to be the most outstanding laser hair removal system on the market for all skin types, from light to dark, including tanned patients. Its unique design, longer wavelength, and innovative cooling allow extremely effective, safe and permanent results.

What do CoolGlide treatments feel like?
As the name implies, the CoolGlide handpiece cools and soothes as it glides along your skin. When the pulse of light is delivered, some patients experience a mild pinching or stinging sensation. No local anaesthesia or pain medication is typically required.

How many CoolGlide treatments will I need?
Most areas require 3-6 treatments on average. However, the actual number of treatments required for optimal long-term benefits depends on multiple factors - hair thickness, the area treated and your hair's growth cycle.

What happens after the treatment?
Immediately following your CoolGlide treatment, the area may appear a bit red and swollen. Three to seven days after treatment you may experience what seems to be re-growth of hair. Actually, most of these hairs are being shed as a result of your treatment and are not re-growing. Between treatments you should not wax or pluck your hair, but it is permissible to shave.

What are the possible side effects?
Although patients experience few side effects, the most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin, similar to sunburn. These effects typically last for several hours or less. In rare instances, blistering may occur. Consult with your medical professional for complete information on the benefits and risks of treatment.

IPL Ellipse Flex Pulse Light – how does it work?
Ellipse uses short, safe bursts of light emitted from a flash-lamp to remove unwanted hair from all body sites in minutes. The unique Ellipse I2PL system carefully filters this light in two ways to ensure that only light with the correct wavelengths is allowed to reach your skin, which destroys your hair follicle, and disables it to grow again.

How many Ellipse treatments do I need?
Clinical studies have confirmed that at least 3-6 treatments are needed, and the intervals between treatments are typically 1-3 months.

How can I be sure Ellipse is safe and effective?
Clinical trials documenting Ellipse’s safety and effectiveness are carried out by leading doctors prior to the release of the product. The results of these tests are then published in respected, refereed medical journals. You are welcome to view these scientific papers on the Ellipse website at www.ellipse.org.
