Laser Hair Removal
Laser hair removal is the most up to date way of removing unwanted hair and is rapidly superseding electrolysis and waxing.
It works by the energy in the laser light destroying the hair follicle. Although one laser session can produce long-term hair removal, generally several sessions are necessary to obtain results. This is due to the fact that laser hair removal is most effective when the hair is in the anagen phase. Anagen is the growth phase of the hair. Since hair grows in 3 distinct cycles, not all the hairs are in anagen at any given time. Therefore additional sessions are necessary to catch all of the hairs when they are in anagen.
