- What Is Chromolite?
Chromolite intense pulsed light (IPL) is the latest technology for permanent hair reduction. It offers a clinically proven fast safe and effective method for removing hair leaving you with smooth skin.

- How Does It Work?
Chromolite delivers pulses of light into the skin at a specific wave length which is selectively absorbed
by the melanin pigment in the hair follicle.
The light energy heats the pigment and effectively disables the hair follicle without damaging the surrounding skin tissue. Once treated the hairs will gradually slip out over the next 7 - 10 days
leaving the skin smooth and hair free.

IPL hair removal is effective in removing hairs which are in the active growing (anagen) phase.
Follicles in the second phase (catagen) and third phase (Telagen) will not be affected since the dermal papilla is not yet attached to the follicle itself. As a result, additional treatments will be required
once the dormant hairs reach the anagen phase.

- How many treatments are required?
20% to 30% of hairs are in the anagen stage at any one time. As a result, multiple treatments
are required. This varies between individuals. Our experience indicates that a minimum of 5
treatments are usually required. There tends to be a 4 - 8 week interval between treatments.

- Is it Painful?
Most People find some level of discomfort. Similar to a flick from a small elastic band on the skin.
Cooling methods are used on the skin prior and post treatment to improve comfort levels.
Temporary mild redness may occur on the treated area for a short period of time.

- How Long Does it Last?
Clinical studies have proven that IPL is effective in Permanently reducing hair growth. It is a
gradual process but once the hair follicle has been treated it should not re-grow.

- How Much Does it cost?
Treatment Cost depends on the area's treated and number of treatments required. Over time
compared to a life time of waxing or electrolysis , Chromolite IPL hair removal is a more
